Getting Here & Making the Most of It
We’re so excited to celebrate with you in beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea! For your travel plans, the closest airport is Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) — just 10 minutes from town. Other options include San Jose International Airport (SJC), about 75 miles away, and San Francisco International Airport (SFO), about 100 miles away.
We recommend renting a car so you can easily explore the stunning coastline, charming shops, and scenic drives our area is known for. If you’d prefer not to drive, the Monterey Airbus offers convenient shuttle service between Carmel and both SJC and SFO. Please note that Uber and taxi availability can be limited in our area, so plan ahead if you choose not to rent a car.
Carmel is a beloved destination for good reason — we hope you’ll make the most of your time here and enjoy everything our little piece of paradise has to offer!

There are plenty of lovely places to stay while you’re here! The closest hotels are in Carmel Valley, just minutes from our celebration. A bit further toward the ocean, you’ll find charming inns and boutique hotels in Carmel-by-the-Sea — our picturesque village filled with shops, galleries, and restaurants. If you’re looking for more options, Monterey is just a little farther and offers a wide range of accommodations near the bay. Wherever you choose, we recommend booking early — our corner of the coast is popular, and rooms can fill up fast!
